CURRENT LOW PRESSURE ALERTS

POSSIBLE LOW PRESSURE & DISCOLORED WATER DUE TO FIRE DEPARTMENT TRAINING IN THE PINEY GREEN AREA
On Saturday, February 27, 2021, the Piney Green Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting a training exercise. This could result in lower than normal water pressure and/or discolored water in the areas around Lake Street and Freedom Way.
If you notice your water is discolored, we recommend running all of your faucets for a period of 15 minutes or until the water becomes clear. If the water does not become clear, please contact us at (910) 455-0722. It is important that you do not wash laundry while the water is cloudy or discolored. Please wait until water is clear before laundering.

FIRE HYDRANT TESTING - DISCOLORED WATER & LOWER WATER PRESSURE POSSIBLE
The Turkey Creek Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting fire hydrant testing in their service area. As a result of the testing, those in the immediate vicinity may experience temporary discoloration of their water. If you notice that your water is discolored, you can clear this issue by running all of the faucets in your home for a period of 15 minutes or until the water becomes clear. If the water does not become clear, please contact us at (910) 455-0722. It is important that you do not wash laundry while the water is cloudy or discolored. Please wait until water is clear before laundering.

REGALWOOD SERVICE LINE PROJECT
Customers in the area of Regalwood Dr from Tower Dr to Thames Dr may experience a brief interruption in water service beginning Monday, December 28th, while contractors complete the Regalwood Service Line Replacement Project.
This project is expected to take several weeks to complete however individual interruptions in service are expected to be brief.
