Residents in the Holly Hills Mobile Home Park, including S. Dyson St., Sanders St., Jenkins St., Pine St., Hudiberg St., and S. Hines St. may experience periods of low or no water pressure on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. as ONWASA crews and contractors continue to make upgrades to the water main located in that area.
Following the restoration of service to these customers, ONWASA will implement a boil water advisory for those affected by the water outage. This is strictly a precaution, and is being issued due to the work on the local water mains. There is no indication of any contamination, and ONWASA will notify residents when laboratory testing confirms that the water system is operating normally. Once water is restored, it will be at least 24 hours until testing is complete.
When a boil water advisory is issued, ONWASA encourages residents to boil all water used for human or pet consumption at a rolling boil for 1 to 3 minutes, or use bottled water. This includes water used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, or preparing food. There is no need to boil water for showering or bathing.
We value our customers and appreciate your patience while these upgrades are made to the water system in your area.
