Residents of the Bellawoods Subdivision and on White Oak Lane may experience no or low water pressure Thursday, April 19, 2012, as ONWASA crews make repairs to the waterline on Savage Court between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Following the restoration of pressure on Thursday, April 19, 2012, the residents of the Bellawoods Subdivision and on White Oak Lane will be under a precautionary boil water advisory due to the repairs made on the water main. This is strictly a precaution, there has been no indication of contamination in the water system.
ONWASA is requesting that customers in the Bellawoods Subdivision and on White Oak Lane boil water intended for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth, making ice, and washing dishes; or use bottled water. Water should be boiled at a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute. This advisory will remain in effect until the water system returns to normal operation which is usually 24 hours after the restoration of pressure. ONWASA will inform the affected residents once the boil water advisory is lifted.
