Contractors will be installing a new sewer service at the intersection of Old Hammocks Beach Rd. and Hwy. 24 on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 between the hours of 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM, Thursday, July 16, 2015. With this working being conducted, there is a chance for a disruption in water service for the Town of Swansboro (between the old Stevenson Chevrolet down to the Onslow/Carteret line). ONWASA will have personnel on site to oversee the project. A disruption in water service is not expected, but is possible. If an outage should occur, the ONWASA website will be updated with the necessary information to include a boil water advisory and will be sent to those who would be affected.
