Half Moon Fire Department will be performing hydrant flushing today in the Homestead Subdivision, N. Bryan Road, and some on Ramsey Road. Residents in these areas may experience sediment and/or discolored water due to the flushing of these hydrants. The water is not harmful. If you should notice discolored water in your home, turn on the largest faucet in your house, usually a tub faucet, and let it run until the water runs clear.
