Independent Insurance Companies have been soliciting customers throughout Onslow County to purchase insurance for water and sewer lines. ONWASA is not affiliated with the sale of any type of insurance for Water or Sewer Insurance policies nor does ONWASA require such insurance to receive water and sewer services. However, customers are responsible for any water/sewer pipe repairs from the meter to the customer's house. ONWASA will make necessary repairs to any water/sewer pipe from the meter to the road.
