On May 18th at the Regular Meeting of the ONWASA
Board of Directors, Executive Director/CEO, Jeffrey Hudson submitted the
proposed FY 2017-18 ONWASA Budget to the Board in accordance with NCGS 159-11
and 162A-9.
The ONWASA Board, by unanimous vote, scheduled the Special
Meeting/Public Hearing per NCGS 159-12 to be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017
at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Jacksonville City Hall. This Public Hearing will be for the proposed
ONWASA Budget and Rate and Fee Schedule.
Action will be taken. All ONWASA
customers are invited to attend and comment on the proposed ONWASA budget.
The proposed Budget for FY 2017-18 includes no increase in
rates for a seventh consecutive year. The
last rate increase for water and sewer was 8% in FY 2009-10.
The proposed Budget, and Rate and Fee Schedule are available
for review at the following locations:
