ONWASA is committed to supporting our community at this time. Proper sanitation, including hand washing is critical to slowing the spread of the Coronavirus. Effective immediately ONWASA is suspending the disconnection of water service for non-payment until April 15, 2020. We know the Coronavirus has also caused financial hardship. To help, ONWASA is hereby waiving all late fees between today, March 15th and April 15, 2020. Please be aware that water usage fees are not being waived but we are allowing our customers extra time to pay their bill without the account being charged late fees. ONWASA does bill for 3rd party companies and agencies and we have no control over what those 3rd parties charge their customers, such as payments due for trash collection. We will continue to work with state and federal authorities and make further customer service changes as necessary. Also, we want you to know that your tap water is still safe for human consumption. ONWASA uses chlorine disinfection and constantly monitor water quality to ensure that you are protected. We appreciate you very much and pray that you and your family remain healthy and safe.
