NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS: LEAK DETECTION WORK IN YOUR AREA
ONWASA is committed to providing safe, reliable water service and protecting our community’s valuable water resources. As part of our ongoing system maintenance a contractor along with a trained leak-detection dog will be conducting leak detection work in the south end of North Topsail Beach (Old Settlers Beach System) area on our behalf.
What You Can Expect:
- Work is scheduled to begin December 2nd and is expected to wrap up by December 5th.
- A trained leak-detection dog wearing an orange vest will be assisting the crew. The dog will always remain on a leash and under the supervision of professional handlers.
- You may notice workers in your neighborhood, along streets and sidewalks, or near water infrastructure.
- No service interruptions are expected, and all work is non-invasive.
